Healing through feeling
My approach is grounded in a core therapeutic truth: emotional growth doesn’t come from avoiding what we feel, but from engaging with our emotions in a way that is safe, supported, and compassionate.
In our work together, you'll learn to explore your emotions, thoughts, and body sensations with openness and curiosity. We’ll build a secure therapeutic relationship and face your challenges collaboratively, as a team. While diagnoses can be helpful tools, I take a non-pathologizing approach—honoring you as a whole person, not a set of symptoms.
Together, we’ll identify what’s keeping you stuck and create a treatment plan that reflects your priorities. I draw from a range of modalities that all center around the belief that healing happens through feeling—helping you move from a place of overwhelm to one of greater safety, resilience, and trust.
I work with clients navigating a range of emotional, relational, and life challenges:
Relationship issues, including frequent conflict or emotional disconnection
Attachment wounds, including anxious or avoidant attachment styles
Childhood trauma, including physical or sexual abuse
Intimate partner violence or relationship trauma
Difficulty setting boundaries or fear of disappointing others
Emotional dysregulation, including intense reactions to perceived rejection
Avoidance of emotions or fear of vulnerability in relationships
Perfectionism and difficulty coping with change or uncertainty
Generalized anxiety and chronic worry
Intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors related to anxiety
Persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or low self-worth
Questions or struggles related to sexuality, gender identity, or sexual orientation
Navigating major life transitions (e.g., graduation, divorce, career change)
Burnout or overwhelm in high-stress work or school environments
